About the Role:
We are hiring an experienced Data Engineer with strong skills in Informatica and Snowflake to support critical data transformation initiatives for a leading project in the BFSI domain. This role demands a detail-oriented and technically sound professional with a passion for data integration and modern cloud warehousing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Work with cloud-based data platforms, primarily Snowflake, to manage data pipelines and models.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to gather data requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Conduct data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and support production ETL jobs and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to data security and compliance policies.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter ETL development.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Solid SQL skills and knowledge of cloud data ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and integration concepts.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and within a global team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Python or shell scripting for automation.
- Background in banking, insurance, or other BFSI sectors.
