Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Data Migration Testing Lead
with a strong background in ETL testing, data validation, and data quality assurance,
preferably within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will lead large-scale data
migration programs, ensure data integrity across complex systems, and drive
automation within agile teams to meet compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end data migration testing projects in the banking or financial
services domain.
• Validate ETL data transformation strategies to ensure seamless and accurate
data migration.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports for each phase of
the migration lifecycle.
• Execute data profiling, data reconciliation, and quality checks between
source and target systems.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, QA teams, and Business
Analysts.
• Develop automated data validation scripts using SQL, custom tools, and
testing frameworks.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) to integrate automated testing
workflows.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure scalability and reliability of
migrated systems.
• Implement BDD (Behavior Driven Development) practices for enhanced test
collaboration.
• Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and data visualization dashboards (e.g.,
Tableau) for reporting and tracking.
• Lead UAT coordination, issue triaging, and ensure alignment with regulatory
and business requirements.
Required Skills & Expertise:
• 7+ years of experience in data testing, migration testing, ETL testing, and data
migration validation.
• Mandatory experience in the banking domain.
• Hands-on experience with:
o SQL and ETL pipelines (e.g., Informatica)
o Database testing (Oracle, Teradata FSLDM, Snowflake)
o Test automation and data quality tools
o Autosys, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab, Selenium
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, managing test efforts
across sprints.
• Proficiency in performance testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially AWS) and data lake architectures.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation
skills.
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems,
or a related field.
