What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain RPG IV/LE programs as part of the insurance application suite.
- Collaborate with QA engineers, product owners, and fellow developers to deliver working software increments.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code aligned with internal coding standards.
- Debug application issues, optimize system performance, and resolve production incidents.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
What You Bring:
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in RPG IV/LE (ILE RPG) and IBM iSeries (AS/400) development.
- Proficiency in CL, DB2/400, and DDS.
- Experience working in Agile teams using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
- Exposure to insurance domains such as auto, home, or life is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of modular programming, API design, and data integration on IBM iSeries.
